Meet the coaches

Annamie Athayde

Annamie’s career started in book publishing, before she joined the television industry where she created sports and factual programming for 10 years. After starting a family, she changed course, consulting on projects across a range of sectors, including arts and charitable organisations. Most recently she has helped raise over £1.6 million to create a new community centre in London. For the last 25 years, she has also been the director of a Live Events design agency. She is a charity trustee and has been a mentor in both school and adult settings.

Annamie’s coaching is informed by her career experiences, but also her personal journey. She lost a parent at a young age, and grew up between 3 cultures. Her coping mechanism was to ‘code-switch’ to enable her to ‘fit in’ and by the time she reached the work-place she spent all her time doing what was expected of her, not what she wanted. This found her in the wrong place and increasingly unhappy until she reached burnout. Her coaching ambition is to support clients, with the knowledge, tools and techniques to develop greater clarity, flexibility and resilience so they don’t reach that stage.

Annamie is an ICF Professional Certified Coach and Positive Intelligence – PQ Coach certified.
