Having grown up in Northern Ireland in the height of the troubles, Shane spent his early years working in the family business and experiencing all that comes with war, the highs and lows, failures, and resilience. He played football professionally with the GAA for 30 years, gaining numerous individual and team accolades. Since retiring from football 10 years ago, he has worked in various HR Leadership Roles at Board and C-Suite level in high growth SME’s, global organisations and UK plcs overseeing Change Management Projects and Organisational Development. In all these roles he was developing, coaching and mentoring individuals with a focus on creating a high performing culture and ensuring well-being remained at the core.
As a full time coach, Shane’s passion about developing teams and individuals remains. Leveraging his many years of being a professional sportsman, he brings unique insight into how to create individual and collective high performance, maintenance of positive mindset, resilience, well-being and managing burnout. He has extensive experience working with businesses and individuals on how to lead and manage through change.
Shane is an ICF accredited coach for individuals and teams, has a PG Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching, a diploma in Mediation and Conflict Resolution, is a Green Belt Lean Six Sigma and a Master Practitioner in EI & BCR. He also holds diplomas in Change Management and Organisation Development.
